To support these students Excel has partnered with United Kingdom reputable awarding bodies to run courses which includes early years, British sign language, teaching assistants, classroom assistants, youth works, and specific learning difficulties (SPLD) at diploma, degree and post graduate levels. Special education needs / Teaching Assistant training at the Excel College is highly respected for the quality of the training given. The various courses run have received good reports from awarding bodies and our students are very sought after by head teachers. |
Teacher training at Excel is about much more than increasing subject knowledge. It focuses on the development of individuals as professionals, able to make a positive impact on the lives of the children they work with and helping to increase your classroom confidence as you gain valuable experience in different UK learning environments. Students undertake partnership school experience in each year in order to introduce the challenges and practicalities of teaching SEN pupils and supporting learners, school and the curriculum. "The progress of individual trainees is monitored with care. In both college and schools, close attention is given to helping each trainee meet the standards."
