Welcome. Information and communication technologies remain some of the most exciting,
expanding and evolving career areas. Excel College is a recognised leader in ICT education
providing industry knowledge and skills in business information systems, network security,
software development and telecommunications. Today, the School of Information Technology
Department continues to keep pace with the continuously changing world of computer and
Internet-based technologies, providing an innovative mix of modern programs and courses.

The School of Information Technology provides a number of further, undergraduate and
postgraduate programs. Our programs are professionally relevant and intellectually challenging
and have been accredited awarding bodies we work with. We work hard to ensure that our
subjects provide a strong theoretical base whilst also exposing students to practical applications.

We offers a variety of special pathways programs designed for students with a relevant post-secondary qualification to allow entry into
both academic and profesional courses usually with exemptions from the first or second year of the degree or progress into post-graduate
degree.
The qualification provides opportunities for learners to follow a generic pathway giving them a solid foundation across the range of
expertise. Alternatively learners may choose to study towards system and network management along the ICT Systems Support
Endorsement pathway or for learners to specialise in one or more specific programming languages along the Software Development
Endorsement pathway.
